Dear Gull Lake Little League Families,

While it seems odd, given the fact that we were unable to have a baseball and softball season this year, we are already looking towards planning our 2021 season. Gull Lake Little League will hold its annual meeting to discuss the state of the league and hold the election of officers for the 2021 season on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at 6:30 pm at the Richland Township Park by the Concession Stand. Please bring your own chair in order to maintain social distancing.

We will have an open election for all 13 Board of Director positions, as we do every year. Gull Lake Little League is a 100% volunteer ran organization. We will not continue to be successful and provide the opportunity for 450+ kids in our area, to play baseball and softball without volunteers

The Board of Directors meet monthly from October to June to discuss league operations, finances, volunteer needs, and also take on various assignments and roles, as needed. The Board positions are:

• President, VP Baseball, VP Softball, Secretary, Treasurer, Player Agent, Safety Officer, Information Officer/Webmaster, Umpire-In-Chief, Sponsorships/Uniforms, Fundraising Coordinator, Equipment Manager, Scheduler

Please consider taking the time to volunteer for the 2020 season. One of our long time board members, Lindy Wolthuis, who served as the VP of Softball for the past several years is not returning for the 2021 season. Lindy has been a valuable member of our board and will be missed greatly. Below is a letter to the league from her.
